  • Camila Escamilla, LGMFT

Welcome! Give yourself a few seconds to get comfortable to and thank yourself for creating this space you deserve. Whether this decision has been a difficult one or has been long awaited, you’re off to great work. It is my pleasure to introduce myself, my name is Camila Escamilla, I am first generation Salvadoran American from Fairfax, Virginia and I use she/her/her pronouns. As a therapist, it is important to allow my work to be guided through a culturally competent and collaborative lens that allows for exploration among all intersectionalities, dynamics, and systems within your life, relationships and/or family. My goal is to create and maintain a safe space that promotes healthy processing, exploration and meaning making for emotions among children, teens, adults, couples, and families. The central focus of our work will be built on empowering change and highlighting the strength and resilience in an environment where you feel valued, authentic, and understood. With that being said, I look forward to our work in developing structured support, coping skills and the most effective treatment plan that works for you.
