I’m a native Marylander who went to University of Maryland Baltimore County on a gymnastics scholarship.  I majored in Health Care Administration and have worked as a business office manager for over 25 years.  I have worked in several different medical specialties.  I started out in cardiology and internal medicine, cardiovascular imaging, pacemaker technology, and lastly 12 years in plastic and reconstructive surgery.  I’ve handled the entire revenue cycle management and have many years of experience dealing with health insurance claims, payments, appeals, authorizations, billing, and credentialing.

I’ve been married to my husband Kevin for 35 years and we have 2 sons, Alex and Jake who live in Austin TX and Georgia. Alex works in IT Sales and Jake is in a PhD program at UGA in plant genetics.  In my private time I enjoy dancing, reading, fitness, wineries, attending concerts, traveling, and cheering on Georgia Bulldog football!
