Life is a beautiful journey in. Sometimes we lose sight of the wonderful things life has to offer because we are feeling overwhelmed and trying to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, family issues, or a traumatic event. These challenges can impact our outlook on life including how we feel which then influence how we act. The obstacles you may be encountering are unique to your life’s journey which require a tailored approach. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and supportive space where together we establish goals specific to your needs. My hope is to be able to provide you with the proper tools to work through life’s difficulties and unfold the best version of yourself.
Being a bilingual (English and Spanish) therapist has allowed me the experience to work with culturally diverse children, families, and adults who have experienced significant trauma, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and stressful life events. In my work with clients, I use a strength-based approach that focuses on your natural capabilities to aid recovery and empowerment. This therapeutic approach allows for open communication and emphasizes positive thinking patterns to instill a sense of purpose, resilience, and happiness in your life even in the face of adversity.
When not working I enjoy reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
