To walk alongside an individual in the therapeutic process is a privilege. Thank you for including me as a part of yours.

My therapeutic approach draws upon a belief stated by Bessel van der Kolk in The Body Keeps the Score - that as a clinician, my role is "to help people acknowledge, experience, and bear the realities of life, with all its pleasures and heartbreak."

In my clinical work, I have experience working with young people navigating ADHD, anxiety, depressive symptoms, OCD, and co-occurring challenges making it difficult to reach their full potentials in school, in relationships, and in developing their own senses of self. I have also spent over five years working with patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones in the cancer community. I hold a deep commitment to psychoeducation as a cornerstone of effective practice and to ensuring that every client and their support system understands the purpose, process, and possibilities of the work we do together.

I have a particular passion for working with individuals navigating OCD and eating disorders, and I am dedicated to understanding the root causes of behavioral and emotional symptoms with a goal to limit the need for "band-aid" solutions. I believe that our mental, physical, and emotional health states do not exist in isolation from one another, which is why I integrate attention to nutrition, sleep, hydration, and stress management as natural parts of the treatment plan alongside evidence-based modalities. The identification of client needs in the therapeutic space takes patience and willingness to learn, both from the client and the clinician. I look forward to creating personalized approaches to lasting healing and meaningful growth together.

Beyond my professional interests, I am happiest when I am spending time with my family, loved ones, and treasured friends. I love to laugh and believe in the power of being surrounded by humor. I love to go for long walks or hikes both by myself and with others. I am a creative person who loves puzzles and is rediscovering ways to integrate art-making into my regular routine.

I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, where I double-majored in Business and Psychology with a minor in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
