A drop-in open group targeting anxiousness, overthinking, stress, worry, and emotional regulation.
Goal: To learn and strengthen mindfulness skills that enhance calm, promote relaxation, and reduce overstimulation. Learn more about it
Who It's For
Adults 18+ who are interested in learning and practicing guided meditation in a supportive group setting. No prior experience required.
Group Details
Location: Bethesda Counseling Services 6505 Democracy Blvd, Room 11 Bethesda, MD 20817
When: Every Friday starting June 20th Time: 11:00 – 11:45 AM
Fee:
- $30 per session
- First-time referral: $20 each for you and a friend
- $100 for a 4-week package
- $130 for a 6-week package
About the Instructor
Chima Dimgba, LGPC Chima is a licensed mental health therapist at Bethesda Counseling Services. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University and holds certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Chima has a consistent meditation practice and has facilitated mindfulness groups for children, teens, and adults.
