Hailey Alexander

I am passionate about helping people shift their perspectives and gain insight to feel more confident in themselves and their relationships. I emphasize a person’s resilience and work to empower my clients to explore and identify the tools within themselves to overcome challenges. I also believe that helping clients unburden themselves from unhelpful thinking patterns can be transformative.

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to therapy. Whether you’re navigating a crisis, seeking ways to create a more fulfilling daily life or wanting to maintain progress you have made in previous therapy, I believe in meeting you where you are. I am eclectic in the therapeutic modalities that I use to tailor my approach to a client’s unique and personal needs. I always come from a client-centered and strengths-based approach, utilizing tools from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic and crisis intervention. I am dedicated to creating an inclusive therapeutic environment that respects and celebrates diversity.

With the good weather here, I'm now offering Walk and Talk sessions! If you're curious about what that looks like or want to learn more, [click here

Prior to joining BCS, I worked as an outpatient therapist at a non-profit as well as at a community crisis center, responding to those in emergency mental health situations. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and my Master in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where I specialized in Clinical Behavioral Health.

When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on walks with my Australian Labradoodle and attending yoga and pilates classes.

I am accepting new clients virtually and in person.
