Haley Ascher

Hi, I’m Haley and I am passionate about creating a warm safe space where each client feels heard, understood, and empowered. I deeply value the therapeutic relationship and strive to always work collaboratively with clients in helping them achieve their personal goals. I believe in working with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan that focuses on addressing their concerns and goals. My therapeutic style draws from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices, among other techniques.

I am a licensed social worker in the state of Maryland and work with children, adolescents, and young adults. I’m passionate about supporting this age group as they navigate the unique challenges of today’s world.

I was born and raised in the state of Maryland and received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. I received my Master of Social Work degree from the the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

When I am not in the therapy room, I enjoy, painting, baking, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
