Jessica Hoffmaister

Hi, I'm Jessica. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to feel truly heard and valued. I believe in the power of empathy, authenticity, and unconditional support to foster healing and growth. I use a variety of different approaches focused primarily on person-centered care, acceptance and commitment therapy, and strengths-based modalities. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person's unique needs and goals.

I work with adults, teens, and children who are experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulties with friends or family, stress, divorce, self-esteem/body image, as well as grief and loss. It would be a privilege to support you as we work together to enhance your overall well-being.

I was born and raised in the DMV and attended to Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland. I received my Bachelor's in Communication Studies from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I graduated from a dual Master's degrees program in Creative Arts Therapy Counseling and Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University on Long Island, New York. Outside of session, I enjoy trying new restaurants and cuisines. I am an animal lover, avid music listener, and like to explore new cities.
