Jessica Hoffmaister
Hi, I'm Jessica. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to feel truly heard and valued. I believe in the power of empathy, authenticity, and unconditional support to foster healing and growth. I use a variety of different approaches focused primarily on person-centered care, acceptance and commitment therapy, and strengths-based modalities. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person's unique needs and goals.
I work with both adults and kids who are experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulties with friends or family, stress, divorce, self-esteem/body image, as well as grief and loss. I'm honored to be a part of your process, and I look forward to working together toward your well-being.
I received my Bachelor's in communication studies from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I graduated from a dual Master's program in Creative Arts Therapy Counseling and Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University. Outside of session, I am an avid "foodie" so I enjoy trying new restaurants and cuisines. I enjoy listening to music often and traveling to new cities."
