Jessica Hoffmaister
I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to feel truly heard and valued. I believe in the power of empathy, authenticity, and unconditional support to foster healing and growth. I use a variety of different approaches focused primarily on person-centered care, acceptance and commitment therapy, and strengths-based modalities. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person's unique needs and goals.
I work with adolescents and adults who are looking for support with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, difficulties with friends or family, stress, self-esteem/self-worth, body image, as well as grief and loss. It would be a privilege to support you as we work together to enhance your overall well-being.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and went on to complete dual Master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Creative Arts Therapy at Hofstra University on Long Island, New York. Outside of session, I am an animal lover, avid music listener, and enjoy exploring new cities.
