Becky Soper, MS, LGPC, NCC
Hi! I’m Becky. I support adults and couples who are curious to understand themselves more deeply, break repetitive cycles, and cultivate authentic connection.
My work is grounded in attachment theory, relational psychotherapy, and experiential approaches. Rather than simply managing symptoms, therapy with me is a collaborative space to explore the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself, uncover your unmet emotional needs, and build self-compassion and relational security.
Before transitioning to clinical mental health, I spent nearly two decades as a certified organizational change management consultant advising senior government and military leaders. That experience deeply informs my practice today, giving me a strong foundation in systems thinking, communication, and the art of building genuine, trust-based relationships.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and highly relational. I draw from experiential approaches (including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)), family systems, and somatic awareness to offer a secure space to heal patterns, rebuild trust, and foster lasting change.
I warmly welcome individuals and couples across all relationship structures who are navigating:
- Relational & Attachment Issues: Healing attachment wounds, repairing communication ruptures, and stepping out of exhausting, repetitive argument cycles to cultivate deeper security.
- Relational Repair & Rebuilding Connection: Supporting partners, family members, friends, and colleagues in navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, and fostering emotional safety across diverse relationship systems.
- Perfectionism, Codependency & Relational Trauma: Supporting individuals recovering from people-pleasing, boundary struggles, and perfectionism, helping clients unlearn protective survival strategies and cultivate genuine self-compassion.
- Grief, Loss & Life Transitions: Honoring grief and bereavement while gently supporting clients as they adapt to life's major disruptions.
- Somatic & Mind-Body Integration: When appropriate, leveraging my yoga training to incorporate breathwork, grounding, and body awareness tools.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy traveling with my partner, spending time outdoors with friends, working on home improvement projects, crocheting, baking for loved ones, savoring the latest episode of The Great British Baking Show, and caring for my senior cat, Shasta.
