Workshops & Groups

Learn. Connect. Grow.

At Bethesda Counseling Services, we believe that meaningful growth can happen in many different ways.

In addition to individual, couples, and family therapy, we offer workshops and group experiences designed to promote emotional well-being, self-awareness, connection, and personal growth.

Whether you're interested in understanding your nervous system, developing greater confidence, or connecting with others who share similar experiences, our workshops and groups offer opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

This workshop focuses on understanding the connection between stress, the nervous system, and the body through gentle movement, breathing, and grounding practices. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Embodied & Empowered - Group Led by Jenna Koch, LMSW

This is an eight-week therapeutic group for adolescent girls and young women, approximately ages 12-20, focused on body literacy, self-esteem, emotional awareness, and the mind-body connection.

The program offers two tracks:

  • Foundations: An introduction to body literacy, whole-person health, and developing greater awareness of the connection between physical and emotional well-being.

  • Lived: A deeper exploration of body image, personal experiences, and emotional well-being through guided reflection and peer discussion.

The groups will be small, with approximately 5-12 participants, and open to both existing BCS clients and individuals outside the practice.
