Sherin Venable

My approach to psychological assessment is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. I believe that a thoughtful evaluation can help uncover a person’s unique strengths while clarifying the challenges that may be affecting learning, development, or overall well-being. My goal is to help individuals and families gain a deeper understanding of themselves or their child, and to offer clear, practical guidance that supports growth at home, in school, or in the workplace.

I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Baylor University, where I received extensive training in psychological and psychoeducational assessment across the lifespan. I specialize in evaluating concerns related to learning differences, ADHD, and social-emotional development. In my work, I combine careful data analysis with clinical insight and a deep appreciation for each person’s experiences and story.

Many people come to the assessment process with questions, uncertainty, or a sense of feeling overwhelmed. I strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment where individuals and families feel comfortable, heard, and understood. My goal is not only to provide diagnostic clarity when appropriate, but also to translate complex findings into meaningful, practical recommendations that support growth in school or work, at home, and within the broader community.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, and exploring new places with my family. These moments of connection remind me of the importance of understanding each person as a whole, someone with strengths, challenges, and a unique path forward.
